Providence's Federal Hill neighborhood offers a taste of Italy in RI, and features more than 100 restaurants, shopping boutiques, and late night destinations. Travel + Leisure readers recently voted Providence one of America's Favorite Cities, ranking the city #1 in the U.S. for food, drink and restaurants. The Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB) books long-term dates. Support Services The PWCVB's award-winning convention services team works closely with meeting planners to help boost their meeting's attendance through targeted e-mail blasts, interactive maps, attendee websites/ microsites, collateral, signage and more. Booking Incentives Special incentives may be extended for meetings held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in 2016. Please contact the PWCVB for details on 2016 value dates. On the Horizon This January, the city's Westin Providence Hotel was rebranded as the Omni Providence Hotel and is now managed by Omni Hotels Management Corporation. The 564-room hotel is centrally located in downtown Providence, and will be part of Omni's expanding Convention Collection of hotels. The hotel is conveniently connected to the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Providence Place mall.
