One exhibitor, Hotronix, had "SOLD" signs posted on its 6 fusion presses within hours of show opening. The 2012 show was the largest in the event's 44-year history. There were more than 34,000 international attendees; more than 20,000 new products were launched; and many top executives participated in keynote sessions. Industries with increased presence at the show included healthcare, automotive, entertainment, advertising and marketing. Each CES attendee had an average of 12 business meetings that enabled them to accomplish a significant amount of business with professionals from a range of industries around the world.
