The OCCC's newest technology โ€” a mobile web app, http://m.occc.net โ€” gives guests the power to quickly find nearby restaurants and other information via an interactive Convention Center District map. The innovative web app also includes everything from floor maps and food court locations to real-time flight statuses and area transportation options, and can even be translated into 34 languages. With the OCCC's complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas, accessing the mobile web app is seamless. Getting around "The Center of Hospitality" just got easier! It was built on the rich foundation of training, education and content at ESC combined with DESIGN West summits. Massive amounts of valuable content packaged in an intelligent environment is put into the hands of attendees. It's impossible to be everywhere at a confer- ence. Attendees can access and interact with content anytime with ease (like/dislike/react to videos, suggest content and download for archive). The system would recognize their likes/ dislikes and suggest relevant content. DESIGN On Demand offered Topic Zones, Survey Stream to engage and poll the audience. UBM Electronics created an event that offered engineers four days of extraordinary learning. From the beginning of the market- ing campaign, the launch was focused on "All Access," anytime, anywhere. To streamline the process, pass holders were given a Viewsonic tablet, configured and pre-loaded with the application. We put the environment and access into the hands of these users on-site to enhance the experience. All other attendees accessed the environment by logging onto their own personal electronic devices (tablets/PCs/mobile).
